Think about the last days before microwaves and instant potatoes, when the food came directly from the farm to market to the table. Of course, it took a little longer to cook a meal, but we knew exactly who grew or raised food and the “process” has been approved only for the sake of cutting or harvesting. And families for generations, no longer able to maintain a healthy weight. They ate every day to clean, perhaps not by choice but by circumstance, but this was clearly the best for them.

It is increasingly difficult to maintain a healthy weight now. As much as we can lose weight and keep many of us fall into the trap of yo-yo dieting. There’s a reason and it is mainly the type of food we eat, the less consumed the cause of the amount of food.
